So! I’m thinking I will post a monthly update. Good idea? Yes, I think so too.
Here’s my plan: Just a few lines about what we’ve been up to. Pictures, but nothing I’ve already posted on Instagram (I can’t make the same promise for things Matthew’s posted on Facebook. The man is prolific). Perhaps a quip or two.
So January!
We started off with our Annual Steak Dinner. Ruth’s Chris this year. We had a great time. For the first time there were babies in attendance. We learned the story behind the name. We ate lots of steak and drank lots of wine. We reflected and looked forward. It was wonderful!
We spent a night at the Symphony.
I decided I really needed to learn Spanish, and signed up for classes at Boston Center for Adult Education.

Alba and Tony at Casa Quita
My mum went to south east Asia for three weeks, so Rachel, Alex, Matthew and I took turns staying at their house in Watertown to hang out with Bill and Alba.
We celebrated Rachel’s 30th birthday!

Ashley, Rachel, and Evy, out on the town.
At the last minute, I hopped on a plane to Minnesota to meet Rachel N. at Ashley M.’s house to celebrate the blessing of her seriously cute baby, Evy. Honestly, it was only a long weekend, but it was so good for my heart to be with those girls. I love them so much.
Matthew celebrated Ned’s 50th birthday and went to the MathWorks winter celebration.
Tony had his adoption anniversary – He’s been our fuzzy friend for four years!
Then we wrapped up the month with a party for Rachel’s birthday – skating and pizza. I determined that 30 is too old for skating, but that you’re never too old for pizza.
Aww! Love you too Molls! And, hop on a plane anytime to visit again!
