My mum recently undertook the project of having all our home VHS tapes transferred to DVD.  She sent this to me – a cell phone video of her computer screen, so excuse the quality – today, after I made plans to go dress shopping with her.

“I didn’t think I’d be doing this for her this young!”

(I know you’re wondering, and yes, my bum looks exactly the same.)

My mum and a dear friend of mine are hosting an engagement party in May, but Matthew observed that May is a little far away, and he doesn’t think any party needs more than ten days of planning, so lo and behold! We’re having a party on Saturday!

Hello darlings!

We are excited to have a wedding site!  This feels official.  Thank you, Matthew, for making it happen!

The word is out that there is a tentative wedding date: October 12, 2013.
That’s the Saturday of Columbus Day Weekend, and the happy occasion would take place on Martha’s Vineyard.

But if you’re marking your calendar, please do it in pencil! There is a lot up in the air, and there is a very real possibility that the date and/or location may change!

We will keep you posted, promise.
